Trina Hodges Realty Bohemian Party
In June 2013, Trina Hodges Realty contacted us to help her with the planning of her annual client appreciation garden party.
The theme was woodsy bohemian. Our overall vision was rustic and warm, with lots of colour. The highlights of the garden soirée included a s'mores bar, a hot dog bar, live music and a food truck.
We love designing an event from scratch and could do the same for you.

After 45 years of successful business, Sandy Lane was ready to open its second location and B5 Communications was contracted to plan and execute the Grand Opening.

Rockstar Tax Fest 2013
Grant Thornton LLP
Every year, this accounting firm rewards their staff with a party to celebrate the end of tax season. B5 was enlisted to ensure this corporate event was not only fun and memorable but one that made every guest feel like they were a star.
B5 organized an 80s rock star party complete with backstage passes, VIP limo service, a rock star dress-up table, red carpet, fans, paparazzi, rock star awards, a stage set for a rock star DJ and karaoke, and a hangover station to ensure the show could go on at work the next day.

High Street Block Party
The 102 Avenue bridge over Groat Road closed July 1 for 15 months of reconstruction. Despite the closure, the 18 local businesses, shops, cafes and restaurants that make up the charming, walkable, shopping area embraced the positive changes the construction will bring to the neighbourhoood.
To let customers know they are still thriving and open for business through the closure, High Street contracted B5 Communications to organize a community block party. The family-friendly outdoor event featured a chalk art contest, food trucks, music, family entertainment, restaurants and shopping promotions. B5 Communications provided event planning and media relations support.

Empire Collision 50th Anniversary
Prominent government officials, sports champions, clients and business leaders met at the Empire Collision’s south location to celebrate 5 decades of successs in business. As part of its celebration, the company unveiled one of the largest painted murals in Edmonton, which is a tribute to our city. This large-scale piece of art measuring 120 feet long and 12 feet high captures the diverse spirit and history of Edmonton – its triumphs, aspirations and successes.
The event theme was inspired by the company's motto "Specializing in the unexpected since 1964". The event gave guests an experience that was beyond the ordinary featuring unexpected event activities that built on the fun, excitement and adventure of the 1964 event theme. B5 Communications was contracted to assist with the theme and program development, event design, logistics, and media relations. We worked in partnership with Transparent C who did a fabulous job with the invitation design and the event marketing.
